About our dealership
We are northern California’s premier emergency power services company. We offer standby generator system design, sales, rental, service and repair on systems ranging in size from 3kW all the way up to 3MW. We’ve serviced over 2000 commercial, residential, and industrial clients including many of the most recognized global brands spanning the public and private sectors and representing a wide range of industries, facility types, generator system sizes, fuel sources, and applications. We have built our reputation on our technical expertise in the field. We have a dedicated team fielding inquiries, trouble calls, and billing questions, and 24-7 on-call support and emergency field response. We service 14 counties in Northern California and Nevada and run offices in Monterey, Tracy, and Reno with a total staff of ~30 professionals.
We work with clients to design an appropriate maintenance and testing program to ensure their critical power systems’ performance, reliability, and longevity, and then execute and document the program. Our service is provided by factory-trained technicians in company attire. New ownership and management entered in 2024, but we’re built upon the foundations of our predecessor companies and founders. Victor Poley, founded PowerGen in 2016 and was a 30+ year generator industry veteran. He transitioned the company to OnPoint in 2024. Frank Conte, who led Conte’s Generator for 40 years, also joined OnPoint in 2024. Both remain as advisors, ensuring a seamless transition and continued excellence.
